The Entrepreneurship Mechanism was established as part of the implementation of initiatives and the provision of consulting and training services to the "School of Fine Arts (ASKT)"  for the development and operation of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, as part of the action titled SUB2: “Universities of Excellence” with OPS code TA 5180665/Recovery and Resilience Fund “Greece 2.0” (Action Code: 16289). The entire action concerns reform and, specifically, funding for the upgrading and improvement of research infrastructure at selected Greek universities. Action 3.2.5 (16289) “Promoting quality, innovation, and internationalization in universities” aims to improve the quality indicators for research and teaching at Greek universities and to strengthen their international presence. This is achieved through the adoption of strategies for the targeted support of research areas that demonstrate characteristics of international excellence.

The Entrepreneurship Initiative aims to familiarize students and graduates of the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA) with the world of entrepreneurship and to provide support for the development of business ideas. Through the creation of a permanent support and mentoring mechanism, students will become familiar with and gain access to information and advice regarding their entrepreneurial development, funding opportunities, and the advancement of their professional careers.
